Overdraft protection automatically uses funds from your Sharonview savings account or a line of credit to help protect you from overdrawing your checking account.


Overdraft Protection Options:

  • Savings Overdraft Coverage automatically links your primary Sharonview savings account to your checking account. If an item is presented for payment and there are not enough funds in your checking account, we'll automatically transfer the necessary funds from your savings, in multiples of $100 up to your available savings balance. There is no fee for this overdraft transfer.
    *By federal regulation, electronic transfers from savings are limited to six per month.

  • Line of Credit Overdraft Coverage - upon approval, this coverage automatically links your Sharonview Personal Access LineCredit Card or HomeLine to your checking account. If an item is presented for payment and there are not enough funds in your checking account, we'll automatically advance the necessary funds from your line of credit, up to your available Credit limit. There is no fee for this service; however, interest on the line of credit begins to accrue from the date of advance.
