Stop Payments

Stop payments are available to members who wish to stop a check from being cashed. Sharonview charges $15 per check (or series of checks) for stop payments.

Place a stop payment by calling the Financial Solutions Center at (704) 969-6700 or (800) 462-4421, or visit your local branch.

Be prepared with the following information:
  1. check number
  2. dollar amount(s) of checks
  3. payee(s) name
  4. date checks(s) written
The stop payment will take effect 24 hours after is has been entered into our system and will remain in effect for six months.
