In anticipation of the start of another school year, Sharonview Federal Credit Union joins UNC Charlotte in welcoming students back to campus during this year’s Week of Welcome. Taking place from Friday, August 18 to Sunday, August 27, WOW offers new and returning students the chance to explore opportunities on campus. From highlighting campus-wide events to showcasing local partners, this year’s WOW is sure to excite all who attend.
“The start of a new school year is always an exciting time, and we are thrilled to participate in this year’s WOW at UNC Charlotte,” says Bill Partin, Sharonview’s president and CEO. “WOW is a great opportunity to connect with the UNC Charlotte family, we look forward to meeting students, their parents and staff!”
As a participant of WOW, Sharonview will host a booth showcasing services and membership benefits on Thursday, August 24. Additionally, branded swag including stickers, stadium cups, koozies and more will be handed out.
University branch manager Brian Ferraro adds, “Sharonview’s new branch at The Shoppes at University allows us to reach a greater audience and share our financial expertise with students and staff at UNC Charlotte as well as families in the surrounding area.”
