Following its inaugural year of sponsorship, Sharonview Federal Credit Union is once again partnering with the Charlotte 49ers to sponsor its Kickoff Kid program during every home game of the 2017 season. One lucky child, ages 5 to 12, who is registered will be pre-selected before each home game for the once-in-a lifetime opportunity to join the 49ers team on the sidelines of Jerry Richardson Stadium. After the opening or second half Charlotte kickoff, the Kickoff Kid will run onto the field to retrieve the kicking tee.
In addition to the on-field fun, a video message about Sharonview, featuring the Kickoff Kid, will be played for the more than 15,000 fans in attendance.
“Sharonview is honored to have the opportunity to continue our partnership with Charlotte 49ers, allowing us to reach our youngest members and their families with an exciting promotion through Kickoff Kid,” says Bill Partin, Sharonview’s president and CEO.
The Charlotte 49ers’ home football games are:
- 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16 vs. North Carolina A&T
- 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23 vs. Georgia State
- 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7 vs. Marshall
- 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21 vs. UAB
- 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11 vs. Middle Tennessee
- 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25 vs. Florida Atlantic
Judy Rose, Charlotte’s Athletic Director, adds, “we are thrilled to enter our second season with Sharonview Federal Credit Union as the sponsor of our Kickoff Kid program! The Kickoff Kid promotion and the membership ticket program is a great way to connect the Niners with Sharonview’s membership.”
