How it Works
Most employers have the ability to have your paycheck electronically deposited into your preferred checking or savings account on payday instead of printing a check and handing it to you or mailing it to you. The electronic deposit is safer and easier than dealing with a paper check, and it reduces the amount of paper that an employer has to process and send, and it saves you time and effort.
How to Get Started
All you need to do is fill out the Direct Deposit Change form listed above and submit it to your employer, typically to the Human Resources or Payroll department. Alternatively, you may need to contact the agency that sends you checks regularly.
- Download the direct deposit form
- Enter your account numbers:
Savings: Your account number is made up of 2 parts. The member account number and the sub account #. If you do not know your member account number, please Contact Us or visit your closest Sharonview branch. The sub account number is 4 digits, such as 0000, and can be found in Online and Mobile banking under the account detail, and will be listed as "Account number"
Checking: You will need the MICR number, which you find on the front of your checks or in the account detail in Online and Mobile banking.
- Select the deposit account: Decide if you want your paycheck going to Savings or Checking, or split between the two accounts.
- Submit the form to your employer: or the agency that send you checks regularly.
