We love our partnership with Communities in Schools of Cleveland County. On Thursday, December 7, Cameron Kane and Kara Ball joined students at Burns Middle School in Lawndale. They worked directly with lesson plans developed by the teachers to incorporate a Jeopardy!-style game into the lesson. Specifically, the game was focused on budgeting, credit, and general finance.
A special moment of the day was listening to students talk about their career aspirations. This included a deep-dive into how students can achieve their goals—what resources did each student need to reach their unique goals? With off-the-wall questions, college aspirations, and developing contingency plans, we’re confident these kids will be well prepared for any path they take in the future!
